Get the right start with Junior Golf Instruction

Junior golf instruction is the best place to start for any young player. Whether he or she aspires to be a touring pro, PGA pro or just desires the ability to leverage their self in corporate America through the game of golf. No matter which field they choose, it is essential to choose the correct junior golf program, for the development of good fundamentals and learning the rules & etiquette of golf.

If a young player is introduced to and truly believes in the importance of good fundamentals at a young age, he or she will play at a much higher level than those who are not taught the proper basics of the swing. The golf swing itself is a reflection of the player’s pre-swing set up fundamentals. If he or she starts their golf training knowing and believing how the proper grip, aim & alignment, posture and ball position can influence their swing they, will likely not have to work as hard at their actual swing.

Here are the pre-swing fundamentals that influence the swing -

  1. Grip influences the clubface and the rotation of the golf club.
  2. Aim & Alignment influences the initial direction the ball starts relative to the target.
  3. Posture influences the swing shape and the angle of approach the club travels relative to the ground.
  4. Ball Position influences the solidness of contact and your ability to find the bottom of the golf ball at the bottom of the swing arc.
This fundamental approach will result in greatly improved performance and they will be much more likely to stay involved in the game well into their adult life.
