Description: LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, is a developmental junior golf program, for girls ages 7-17. The only national initiative of its kind, Girls Golf of Huntsville presents an opportunity for girls to make lasting friendships, gain self-confidence, learn to compete and have fun, while fostering a lifetime enjoyment for the game. Clinics will be held at Richland Golf Center on Mondays's from 6-8:00 pm and 5 (five) Sunday's from 3-5:00 pm beginning April 13th through June 29th. Clinics include the basics of the golf swing, on course instruction, rules of the game, golf etiquette, and fun competitions. Registration is limited to 90 girls and the fee is $75 (scholarships available to girls needing financial assistance). Registrations will be held at Richland Golf Center on the following Sundays in March: the 8th, 22nd, and 29th from 2-5:00 pm. The fee covers cost for all events and a LPGA-USGA Girls Golf kit.
